Blue Bulls Player Awards 2026, Celebrating Excellence

The Blue Bulls Company (BBCo) recently hosted its annual Blue Bulls Player Awards, a prestigious evening dedicated to recognising and celebrating the players who demonstrated excellence on the field.

The event brought together Blue Bulls players, executives, sponsors and distinguished guests, including the CEO of Vodacom and the CEO of the Blue Bulls Company, along with a number of other important VIPs. With the players themselves at the centre of the evening, the event provided an opportunity for the broader Blue Bulls family to come together and celebrate another year of commitment, performance and achievement.

For M Productions, it was a privilege to once again be involved in this prestigious event, providing multiple levels of technical production as part of the overall show.

A Production Driven by Detail

The entire production was managed by Shanil Mangaroo, Marketing Manager at the Blue Bulls. Shanil personally created all of the content for the show and managed the production cues throughout the event, taking the production from the creative content stage through to its execution on the night.

Working with Shanil is always an absolute pleasure. His professionalism, attention to detail and understanding of the production process ensure that every element is carefully coordinated. He did an exceptional job of bringing the different aspects of the evening together and ensuring that the production ran smoothly from beginning to end.

Under Shanil's leadership and direction, the M Productions team delivered the technical production required for the evening, working closely with him to ensure that the content, technical elements and production cues came together seamlessly throughout the show.

Celebrating the Players

The Blue Bulls players were at the heart of the evening. The awards recognised individuals for their performances and excellence on the field, celebrating their dedication and contribution to the Blue Bulls.

Having the players together with the organisation's leadership, sponsors and VIP guests created a fitting environment in which to recognise their achievements.

Behind the scenes, a great deal of work went into delivering the evening. The M Productions team performed an excellent job, and the collaboration between Shanil, our technical team and everyone involved in the production resulted in a spectacular event.

For M Productions, being involved in the Blue Bulls Player Awards is something we are incredibly proud of. It is always rewarding to see months of planning, creative work and technical preparation come together in a live environment.
